The Аltai epic heritage in the system of storytelling of the Eurasian peoples

Abstract

The article deals with the value of the Altai heroic epic and forms of its performance, as well as special attention is paid to modern forms of restoration of narration art (kai), which include the formats of various festivals of narrators, performers of epic tales, the creation of centers.

The relevance of such research is dictated by the fact that the most valuable layer of culture of the indigenous peoples of Eurasia, contained in the centuries-old epic heritage and narrative art, must have its continuity in modern society to contribute to the preservation of ethnic identity, cultural codes of each nation.

The goals and objectives of the research are to identify the main processes that occur at different levels in the subjects of the Eurasian peoples in relation to narrative art, in the its preservation in the modern ethno-cultural space of the Eurasian peoples.

The article reflects not only the research on the forms of existence narrative art, modern aspects of its transformation, but also long-term experience of the author to create concepts, normative acts, regulations for the conservation of Altai kai. The practical implementation of the concept of conservation of kai at the present stage, manifested in the form of festivals and competitions, recording performance style and texts of the tales for several years, the research platform to investigate the forms and degree of preservation of the Altai kai and Association with measures of preservation of the epic of other nations.

The main conclusions and results of the study are that the general processes of the Eurasian peoples in the preservation of narrative art are considered, trends, including problems in this art are clarified. Taking into account the aspects of the continuity of narration traditions and new measures to restore them among different Eurasian peoples, the general modern trends in the preservation of this art form are noted.

In the prospects of the study, it should be noted that such an examination of the situation associated with the development of narration among modern Eurasian peoples allows us to draw not only conclusions, but also to outline the prospects of cooperation and interregional directions of further work on the coordination of events, activities related to the preservation of traditional foundations of narration.
